What qualities should a "good training chair" possess?

Not all chairs claiming "ergonomics" truly live up to their reputation. A truly excellent chair typically features:

1. Comprehensive adjustability:

· Seat height: Ensure your feet are firmly planted and your thighs are parallel to the ground.

· Seat depth: Leave a fist's width between the back of your knees and the edge of the seat cushion to avoid compressing your thighs.

· Lumbar support height and depth: Ensure precise positioning of the third and fourth lumbar vertebrae and provide strong support.

· Armrests: Provide at least fore-and-aft adjustment to accommodate various work postures.

· Backrest tilt: Provide a synchronized reclining function.

2. Scientific support:

· Lumbar support: This is the core component and must be independent, adjustable, and provide noticeable support.

· Backrest: It should fit snugly around the thoracic spine and sacrum.

3. High-quality materials and breathability:

· Mesh material: A cost-effective choice, breathable and elastic, providing a "floating" support.

· High-quality sponge: Comfortable and dense, preventing collapse from prolonged sitting.

In short, a good training chair provides fundamental and systematic benefits to its users. It protects your physical health, supports your productivity, and ultimately improves your long-term quality of life and work.
